Injunction - Welcome to HeirHunter UK

Injunction

Legal aid may help you meet the costs for having a Non-Molestation Order served, if you are eligible.

If you are a victim of domestic abuse and the person you want to be protected from, ‘the respondent’ is:

  • someone you’re having or had a relationship with

  • a family member

  • someone you’re living or have lived with

Then you may be able to apply for an Injunction. An injunction is a court order that requires someone to do or not to do something.

A primary injunction available under Part IV of the Family Law Act 1996 in a non-molestation order.

A non-molestation order is typically issued to prohibit an abuser from using or threatening physical violence, intimidating, harassing, pestering or communicating with you.

You or the solicitor acting for you can instruct HeirHunter UK to personally serve this order. We can serve at a home address, work address, Police custody suite, HM Prison or all other suspected locations that the respondent may be present at.
